Local final competition for best innovative student idea at University of Kragujevac

The local final competition for best student idea was held on July 9, 2015 at the University of Kragujevac. The finalists were six teams from four faculties of the University of Kragujevac – Connect, CSL FTN, Fantastic four, Green Chemistry, Union and Zeba. They presented their business ideas in the form of seven-minute pitch presentations. After the short interview, the members of the international jury, where ZSI was presented by Ines Marinkovic, scored the presented ideas and selected three best teams.

The title of the winner of the local final competition for best student ideas at the University of Kragujevac went to the team Green Chemistry with the idea “Production of essential and cosmetic oils”.

The second place belongs to the team Zeba with the idea for the production of monoclone antibodies and the third place belongs to the team CSL FTN with the idea “Interactive pen”.

These three teams received valuable prices. The first two teams won 1,500.00 and 1,000.00 EUR respectively for the travel to the University of Graz, where they will have the chance to present their ideas at the "StartUp-Spritzer" in front of their colleagues from the University of Graz.

The third team won the voucher in the amount of 40,000.00 RSD provided by the local sponsors.

As winners of the local final competition, the first two teams (Green Chemistry and Zeba) will represent the University of Kragujevac at the Regional final competition which will be organized approx. in November in the Chamber of Commerce in Belgrade.
