Editorial: Beiträge der TeilnehmerInnen Michael Gabathuler, Alina Kellner & Tara Anderson

Die berufsbegleitende Weiterbildung „Master of Arts in Social Innovation“ wurde im April dieses Jahres gestartet. Gemeinsam mit dem Zentrum für soziale Innovation rief die Donau-Universität Krems dieses Pionierprojekt auf dem Weg zu einer professionellen Masterausbildung zum Sozialen Innovator ins Leben und erregte damit internationale Aufmerksamkeit.
TeilnehmerInnen aus der ganzen Welt machten in den vergangenen Monaten ihre ersten Schritte: „Wir freuen uns über die positiven Reaktionen!“, so das gemeinsame Resümee von Lehrgangsleiterin Denisa Vesely (DUK) und wissenschaftlichem Leiter Josef Hochgerner (ZSI). Im August 2013 trafen sich die Studierenden bereits zum zweiten Workshopblock an der Donau-Universität Krems und fassten bei dieser Gelegenheit ihre Erfahrungen zusammen:

“The master of social innovation at the Danube University in Krems is as diverse as the field of social innovation itself: We are students from three different continents taught by experts from multiple scientific disciplines. Hence, I appreciate the openness and flexibility of the course management and the teachers to constantly integrate our feedback in order to keep the learning curve high.“
