Horizon 2020 SME Instrument Training

Kiev, 9 to 8 December 2016 – Over 50 national and international experts from ministries, academia, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and the private sector attended a two-day training event that focussed on SMEs in Horizon 2020.
The training session was organised within the framework of the RI-LINKS2UA project in close cooperation with the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science and was held at its premises.
The event was hosted by Stella Shapoval from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine along with the participation of Gorazd Weiss and Philipp Brugner, representatives of ZSI, that acts as the coordinator of RI-LINKS2UA.
During the workshop the following topics were discussed:
- EU login registration
- Evaluation of H2020 proposals
- H2020 and its types of actions
- Support to the strengthening of the Ukrainian innovation capacity and economic competitiveness
- How to write a competitive SME Instrument phase II proposal
- The SME Instrument under H2020
- Polyteda Cloud project
- SME Instrument self-evaluation form
The training enabled participants to acquire a comprehensive overview of the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument and provided methods of successful business proposal preparation under Horizon 2020 for both phase 1 and phase 2 funding. Click here for further information.
