INCOBRA InfoDay in Recife

On 21 March 2018, an INCOBRA-ENRICH Horizon 2020 Info Day was held at the Porto Digital campus in Recife. The event was aimed at training researchers, managers of public and private companies and innovators in how to participate in calls for financing through Horizon 2020, the European Union's program to foster research and innovation, which offers various funding opportunities in the areas of science, technology and innovation.
More than 150 participants took part in lectures and workshops throughout the day with one goal: learning how create a proposal which will be successfully funded by the European Union. On the agenda were international speakers, project submission specialists and H2020 representatives, all working together to make the event a transformative experience.
Throughout the Info Day, there were many discussions about cooperation on projects, how to bring together international partners, and above all, how to overcome the challenges of the submission processes to make a successful proposal. Beside the lectures, the event also held training workshops, which along with valuable information, provided participants with international networking opportunities.
