MPs discuss the Austrian Research and Technology Report

Today, the latest Research and Technology Report 2022 on the status and development of the Austrian RTI system was discussed in the parliamentary Committee for Research, Innovation and Digitalisation. Dr. Brigitte Ecker (WPZ Research) and Dr. Klaus Schuch (ZSI) were available to the MPs as respondents.
The current report contains the latest global estimate for R&D in Austria, positions Austria's science, research and innovation in a European and international comparison, contains four special topics pointing to the future, such as the circular economy and quantum research/quantum technology, summarises Austria's performance in Horizon 2020, provides information on recent evaluations and offers a monitoring of the central Austrian research funding organisations and the central non-university research organisations.
