FOODITY announces the launch of the first open call, offering the chance to apply with innovative ideas.

We are reaching out to teams working on exciting data-driven food-related projects seeking funding. The FOODITY project provides equity-free funding, mentorship, and access to a network of industry experts to assist them in bringing their vision to life.

FOODITY 1^st open call details:

• Opening dates: 05.09.2023 – 08.11.2023
• Funding possibilities of up to €187,500 per project
• Project duration: up to 12 months

The selected pilot project proposals will provide creative solutions to address existing research and technical challenges in alignment with the Food 2030 initiative. This initiative represents the European Union's research and innovation strategy with the goal of establishing more sustainable food systems by 2030. Its key focus includes promoting food systems that are environmentally friendly, encouraging the development of sustainable and healthy diets, highlighting the importance of circularity and efficient resource management, and promoting innovation while empowering local communities.

The Open Call will specifically target three primary domains (Personalized food and nutrition, sustainable food systems, shopping experiences), in addition to one open challenge.
