Intergovernmental organization fostering relations between Italy (Europe) and Latin America

Akronym: IILA

IILA, ​​the Italo-Latin American International Organization, is an intergovernmental organization based in Rome. It was created in 1966 to foster and strengthen relations between Italy (Europe) and Latin America. Since 2007, IILA is an observer member of the General Assembly of the United Nations, and since 2018 it is of the EU-CELAC Ministerial Meetings.
