Akronym: IDEA

NGO Pokreni ideju was founded in 2011 to promote social innovation and to achieve its primary goal- to launch and manage Impact Hub model in Zagreb. Impact Hub Zagreb (IDEA) was launched in January 2013 and has been designed as an organisation primarily focused on creating positive change through enterprise model by providing support to individuals who want to change society for the better through entrepreneurship. Impact Hub Zagreb is part of an international network of 102+ Impact Hubs that provide a unique ecosystem of resources, inspiration and collaboration opportunities for 16 000+ of its members - social entrepreneurs and innovators - that create positive changes in the society through entrepreneurship. Impact Hubs do that through offering: (1) the use of shared work (coworking) space and event space; (2) the preincubation, incubation and acceleration programs; (3) mentoring support for diverse target groups, and (4) direct access to a wide network of local and global experts and individuals committed to creating positive change in the world. Impact Hub Zagreb is member of the CEE Social Impact Investment Task Force as a representative of the Impact Hub network together with Impact Hub Austria.
