Diversity management in SME
The Tuned Up! project delivered innovative solutions supporting diversity management in SMEs. The project was based on the concept of a 'Diversity Ambassador' - an employee who promotes diversity management in the company he/she is working in.
The implementation of such a role required proper, multidimensional preparation of the employees who were in a new role, their direct superiors, the management and all employees. The main issue was to provide the Diversity Ambassadors with essential competences and tools supporting efficient diversity managing.
To achieve this, the Tuned Up! programme included the following elements:
- A tool supporting diversity audit (evaluation of organizational processes);
- A tool supporting the selection of a Diversity Ambassador from a company's staff;
- A set of tools supporting the Diversity Ambassador in his/her work;
- E-learning supporting the implementation of a diversity management system in an organization; and
- A Manuals supporting the implementation of a diversity management system (target group: executives).
