Creation of an ERA Thematic Dossier by analyzing the participation of Austrian companies in H2020, including new business-related instruments (SME instrument, Access to Finance).

The basis of the work formed the ERA thematic dossier “Economy” from 2015, which was updated in the course of this project (with special attention to business-related instruments). To this end, ZSI was closely cooperating with experts from Austrian Research Promotion Agency.

Even if the focus was on the participation of Austrian companies, not least for comparison purposes, cross-references to the participation structure and development of other types of organizations (e.g. universities, non-university research institutions, etc.) were also made.

Study shows that the Austrian companies were very successful in their integration into the European RTI program structures.
