Supporting Digital Literacy
The project had four overall objectives:
1. The study provided an overview and analysis of past and ongoing initiatives carried out in each of the EU27 Member States and other relevant countries to enhance digital literacy.
2. The study provided an overview and review of measurement tools and indicators on digital literacy. The objective was to arrive at an overview over the sources and types of factual information that are currently used in the EU27 and beyond for assessing digital literacy.
3. With an outset in the overviews the project highlighted a number of best practice examples as to different effective methods to enhance digital literacy.
4. The study identified areas where better or further EU support is desirable to promote digital literacy for lifelong learning.
