The EUWIN regional workshop - Implementing workplace innovation - will take place at the 6th of May in Vienna and will be hosted by Microsoft Austria in their brand new office facilities

The regional focus is on Austria’s neighbouring countries Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia and Italy. 

The event will be facilitated by experts from the European Organisation Design Forum (EODF) who will provide you with in-depth experiences of how workplaces can be designed and adapted to increase performance, innovativeness and employee well-being. 

The workshop will focus on concrete cases presented by regional companies, discussions and group work creating an interactive environment to stimulate your active participation. Participants will join a guided tour through the Microsoft facilities designed according to Microsoft’s “new world of work” concept which combines human, spatial and technological dimensions. 

The audience will primarily consist in companies from the region as well as professionals in the field of organisational change and workplace innovation.

Participants will share:

  • A general understanding of workplace innovation (WI) and some main "principles" of implementing WI in companies (WI related change management)
  • Concrete case studies from companies: 
    • Why did they want to change? 
    • How did they do it?  
    • What were the main challenges and how  they were overcome.
  • Introduction of selected tools used for implementing WI (for instance participatory methods)
  • Group work and creative thinking on WI implementation strategies and tools
  • Responses from professional change managers/WI experts on company cases and group work
