The OPEN Evaluation 2016 conference is approaching and Danube-INCO.NET is organising, in its context, two events both taking place on 25th November 2016, in Vienna:
- Policy Roundtable: which role for science in smart specialisation?
This roundtable will debate how sound scientific methods can be used for strategy design and the monitoring & evaluation (M&E) of innovation strategies. To discuss practices from different territories taking into account the politics of scientific advice.
- Panel: Evaluating smart specialisation and regional innovation
This panel (previously announced on this site as Science for S3 workshop: Combining old and new approaches for monitoring and evaluating innovation policies) aims at discussing how we can monitoring and evaluate both problem definition and policy implementation in STI policies with a special emphasis on smart specialisation.
