“Social Innovation – Research and Policy of the Future”, a key event on social innovation in the year 2017, is planned and designed by the project “Social Innovation – Driving Force of Social Change (SI-DRIVE)”, in cooperation with the Horizon2020-funded Social Innovation Community project. Representatives of scientific concepts, policy approaches and outstanding initiatives of social innovation will join. The conference will draw upon the results of SI-DRIVE’s global mapping of more than 1.000 social innovation initiatives as well as its policy recommendations. Questions to be discussed include
- the state-of-the-art of conceptualising and doing social innovation on a global scale;
- methods and good practices to create desirable social change;
- resources, means and levers making social innovation processes effective; and
- an international comparison of social innovation practices, policies and research.
