Mutual Learning Exchange on ''Challenges and experiences of multi/inter/trans – disciplinary in CSI collaboration''
Section: Technology and Knowledge
Date: 19. December 2023
Centre for Social Innovation (ZSI) is in charge of training and mutual learning activities of the StepChange project. These activities build on the preliminary work conducted together with Science for Change mapping the training needs of the Citizen Science Initiatives (CSIs) organised in the StepChange project https://stepchangeproject.eu/.
These activites take place in an online setting between March 2022 and December 2023 and are part of a wider portfolio of actions led by ZSI to support the implementation of the CSIs while also facilitating their transdisciplinary work and mutual learning activities. We then compiled a targeted portfolio tackling the challenges and experiences on the topic identified beforehand.
Mutual learning activities are structured to encourage knowledge-sharing within each of the five CSIs, promote mutual learning interactions among the five CSI, and foster shared learning experiences between the CSIs and other SWAFS and CS projects.
The first MLE focused on Recruitment of Citizen Scientists and other relevant stakeholders and was held on March 15, 2022. The second MLE centered on Ethical Issues in Citizen Science and took place on October 18, 2022. The third MLE focused on Data Collection and was held on February 21, 2023.
After completing each MLE, the ZSI team prepared output papers with input from all consortium partners. These papers are shared publicly to enable others to glean insights and knowledge from our findings. Access and explore those findings here: https://zenodo.org/search?q=stepchange&l=list&p=1&s=10&sort=bestmatch
The fourth and last MLE focuses on Challenges and experiences of multi/inter/trans - disciplinary collaborations in CSIs and it will take place on December 19, 2023.
