The Capitalisation Workshop “Boosting Knowledge and Competitiveness in the Danube Region”, scheduled for 26–27 March 2025 in Bratislava, is a collaborative initiative led by Priority Area 7 (Knowledge Society) and Priority Area 8 (Competitiveness) of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR).
The workshop aims to bridge strategic and project-level efforts by fostering synergies among ongoing Danube Region projects. Focused on themes like smart specialisation, technology transfer, circular economy, and sustainable cities, the event features project presentations, networking sessions, and policy discussions to enhance cross-project collaboration and policy impact.
The workshop’s agenda includes site visits, focus group discussions, and a networking dinner hosted by the Slovak Ministry of Investments. Participants explore ways to amplify project outcomes, build thematic networks, and align with regional strategies like the Danube Region Programme. The event underscores the Danube Region’s commitment to research, innovation, and sustainable development through shared knowledge and coordinated action.
Our colleague Fiorda Llukmani representing the POLICY ANSWERS project (powering the Western Balkans Info Hub) is also attending the event.
