ZSI organizes the Forum on research for Innovation in ICT

The Forum for the Western Balkan Countries takes place in the end of November.

ZSI in its role of coordinator of the FP7 project WINS-ICT “Western Balkan Countries Inco-Net Support in the field of ICT”is organizing the Forum on research for Innovation in ICT FOR the Western Balkan Countries to take place in Belgrade on 30th of November.

The focus of WINS-ICT is to strengthen S&T cooperation between the EU and the Western Balkan countries by deepening the bi-regional strategic relations in the ICT field and promoting the participation of WB ICT researchers in FP7.

The Center for Social Innovation is also the coordinator of other projects focussing on the Western Balkans: WBC-INCO.NET as well as SEE-ERA.NET PLUS. In those projects, the partners are mainly Ministries with responsibilities in science, research and innovation, Agencies and several analytical partners such as also the Joint Research Centre IPTS of the European Commission and the United Nations University Maastricht (MERIT).
The Austrian Ministry for Science and Research is also one of the project partners and supporters.
Coordination of these important projects in and for the region lies with the team in the Unit "Research Policy and Development".
