The VERA project - Forward Visions on the European Research Area - launched its new interactive web portal (www.eravisions.eu)
18. Jun. 2012
The VERA project's interactive web portal has been launched during a forward looking activities stocktaking workshop and project meeting on 20 June 2012 in Vienna. Beside information about the project, its outputs and project-based news and events, the VERA website also offers information about other ERA-related events and news from European Commission and other sources.
To support the VERA work plan (see: http://www.eravisions.eu/about/structure) and do justice to the project's interactive and inclusive approach, the web platform includes a series of features and tools for interaction with stakeholders: interactive online commenting and rating for scenario building; online surveys; polls with immediate result statistics; online event registration, pre- and post-event discussion and documentation; social media integration (joining the discussion on Facebook and LinkedIn; sharing the webpage contents on Facebook, Google+ and Tweeter, etc.).
The web platform has been conceptualised by the Centre for Social Innovation (ZSI) in cooperation with JRC-IPTS and Fraunhofer ISI. It has been implemented and is maintained by ZSI.
