MIRRIS - Dialogue events on Widening Participation

MIRRIS (Mobilising Institutional Reforms in Research and Innovation Systems) aims at encouraging a better exploitation of European research and innovation programmes and participation in the European Research Area of the 13 target countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia) by setting up a process of analysis, dialogue, mutual learning among key concerned stakeholders, namely research, innovation and institutional actors. MIRRIS is funded by the EC under FP7.
For the policy dialogues in the target countries ZSI provided a tailor-made methodology (see below for download).
The first policy dialogues are fixed:
- Poland, 31 March 2014. Host organisation: Polish Agency for Enterprise Development
- Malta, 8 April 2014. Host organisation: Malta Council for Science and Technology
- Cyprus, 25 April 2014. Directorate General for European Programmes
- Slovakia, 8 May 2014. Slovak permanent representation of the EC
- Hungary, 14 May 2014. National Innovation Office
- Slovenia, 19 May 2014. Ministry of Education, Science and Sports
- Croatia, 22 May 2014. Ministry of Education, Science and Sports
- Lithuania, 30 May 2014. National Research Council
- Bulgaria, 3 June 2014. Ministry of Education and Research
- Estonia, in week 24, National Research Council
Dates of Romania, Czech Republic and Latvia are still pending.
