Call for experts to provide trainings in two Seminars on Research and Innovation Policy

CALL FOR TRAINERS/EXPERTS!

ZSI publicly announces this call for experts to provide trainings within two subsequent seminars on one or more of the following topics:

  • The theoretical foundations of STI policy
  • STI policy paradigms
  • STI policy mixes
  • Innovation support instruments and programmes
  • Policy instruments for technology transfer and IPR frameworks
  • Measurement of R&D and innovation
  • Assessment of the performance of research organisation and instruments for steering a more competitive R&D development
  • International cooperation in Science, Technology and  Innovation
  • Foresight as an instrument for Science, Technology and Innovation Policies

The two subsequent „Seminars on Research and Innovation Policy“ are organised under the INCO-NET EaP-project (‘STI International Cooperation Network for Eastern Partnership Countries’) and under the INCO-NET-CA-project (‘STI International Cooperation Network for Central Asian Countries’). Both projects are funded by the European Commission under the 7th European Framework Programme for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration (FP7). The Seminars take place between 9th and 13th February 2015 (for the participants from Central Asia) and between 16th and 20th February 2015 (for the participants from Eastern Europe). Seminar language is English.

The seminar addresses senior experts dealing with science, research and technology policy and informs and discusses pertinent topics of research and innovation policy, such as STI policy paradigms, STI policy mixes, innovation support instruments and programmes, measurement of R&D and innovation. Trainers should be high-level experts. The draft schedule of both seminars is attached. The training sessions for each topic should last around 2.5 to 3 hours. They should consist of sound theoretical input, practical application examples and interactive elements.

If you are interested to provide a training on one or more of the above mentioned topics, and if you can preferably participate as trainer in BOTH seminars, then please send your significant CV and your price offer to Mr. Klaus Schuch. Travel and accommodation costs are directly covered by the organisers and must not be inlcuded in the price offer.
