EULAC Focus kicks off in Madrid

On April 4-5 the H2020 project EULAC Focus celebrated its kick-off event at the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI) in Madrid. EULAC Focus is a research project which stands for giving focus to the cultural, scientific and social dimension of the relations between the EU and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC). ZSI is leader of the work package which examines the social dimension and is also heavily involved in a scenario building process which aims at constructing a renewed vision for EU-CELAC relations. The project will run for 3,5 years and produce a number of analytical reports and hold scientific workshops in Europe and Latin America. The project consortium is composed by 17 institutions from Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Jamaica, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Guatemala.
