Interreg Europe features RaiSE in its "Discover projects" section
6. Nov. 2017
RaiSE is a project funded under the Interreg Europe programme. It's aim is to enhance the competitiveness of European social enterprises by providing recommendations for improved business support policies.
ZSI is advisory partner in RaiSE and mainly works on the analyis of the different policy environments for social enterprises existing in the EU. As two key results deriving from this work, a cross-regional analysis report and a good practice guide including best practices from different regions in the EU will be developed.
As of November 3, RaiSE appears as a featured project on the Interreg Europe ‘Discover projects’ page: http://www.interregeurope.eu/discover-projects/
RaiSE will stay as a featured project until December 2017. The project will benefit from high visibility during this period!
More information about RaiSE
RaiSE brings together six pro-active regions and one advisory partner to address the common challenge of enhancing competitiveness of social enterprises. According to the Social Business Initiative of the European Commission, social enterprises:
- focus on social impact rather than generating profit
- use their benefits to achieve social goals
- are managed by social entrepreneurs in an accountable, transparent and innovative way.
The potential of social enterprises to generate inclusive growth and promote more and better jobs is widely recognised and RaiSE project partners will learn from each other to improve their regions business support policies.
