INCOBRA: H2020 Proposal Writing training and final Consortium Meeting in Vienna

In the framework of the INCOBRA project, ZSI Senior Expert Gorazd Weiss and Communication Specialist Michael Wilkinson delivered a day-long training session for selected EU-Brazil research networks on Horizon 2020 proposal writing and project management on 26 September 2018.
The INCOBRA project has selected 5 EU-Brazil networks to receive funding to conduct bilateral research: BMMO, STI-net, PEARL, NANO-NOCMAT and NIUMAR (find out more about the networks here). Representatives from these networks were invited to the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) headquarters in Vienna to receive the training, where they also met with relevant NCPs, and learned about Brazilian co-funding mechanisms from INCOBRA partners FINEP and FAPESP.
The INCOBRA team followed up the training event with a final project Consortium Meeting, which was held on 27-28 September. In this meeting, the project partners discussed the final activities and deliverables to be completed before the closing of INCOBRA in January 2019, as well as the possibilities for future projects to continue international STI collaboration between the two regions.
