Research meets Business – Breakfast hosted at ZSI
28. Nov. 2018
In the course of the "Danube Chance 2.0" project ZSI hosted its first Business Breakfast with the aim to discuss strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for the support of second-chance entrepreneurs in Austria. Various stakeholders interested in the topic, including representatives from the Austrian chamber of commerce (WKÖ), Wirtschaftsagentur and Gewerbeverein attended the workshop and engaged in lively discussions with (re-)starting entrepreneurs.
During the Business Breakfast, Wolfgang Haider from ZSI presented first insights into the analysis of the second-chance entrepreneurship landscape in Austria. The findings of this report were discussed with the stakeholders. Their expertise and feedback will now be taken up to improve and further develop the analysis. You will be able to find the final report online here shortly.
Furthermore, the event fostered the establishment of the “Local Business Re-Structuring and Repair Advisory Group” for Austria, which will actively participate in the course of the project. The expert group will be involved in further activities and continue to support the project implementation with their expertise and knowledge on Austrian peculiarities of the second-chance entrepreneurship landscape.
