Croatian Ministry responsible for Education and Science Policy

The Ministry of Science, Technology and Sports is the government body responsible for the development and follow-up of RTD activities such as developing network building capacities, disseminating information, and supporting the application of scientific results in Croatia. The Ministry is responsible for the development of national legislation in the RTD sector, for financing RTD programmes and contractual projects in order to develop a national RTD programme and relevant RTD projects, for planning, coordination and implementation of IT activities and for the coordination of technology development, as well as for monitoring, analysing and realising cooperation on the basis of bilateral and multilateral agreements, such as hosting researchers from abroad and paving the way for Croatian researchers to be hosted by foreign institutions.
