entersocial Good Practice Transfer
Social Entrepreneurs face challenges such as demographic changes with innovative approaches or by creating new pathways in traditional fields such as regenerative agriculture. Those social innovations can contribute to regional development. During the first funding period (09.2010 to 03.2012), strategies in promoting social innovations as well as successful social enterprises were identified and analysed. Study visits and expert talks facilitated the direct exchange of thoughts among people from Brandenburg and other European regions.
In the second period (03.2012 to 12.2013) three transnational work groups were established. Their goal was to initiate cooperations among researchers and practitioners from both Brandenburg and other regions as well as to develop recommendations for future strategies.
The role of ZSI and the other partners was:
- Identification and approach of potential participants for the work groups from their regions and networks
- Assistance in organising study visits to their regions
- Participation in work group 4 and the closing event
- Participation in work group meetings in their regions
