Evaluation of ADA's Business Partnership Programme
The Austrian Development Agency (ADA) supports both private sector development (PSD) and „private sector for development“ (PS4D) efforts. The latter refer to development-relevant activities that the private sector in Austria (and other European countries) carries out in partner countries.
The Centre for Social Innovation (ZSI), in a team with German consultants endeva, carries out an evaluation of ADA’s PS4D activities, more precisely its „Business Partnerships“ (WIPA) programme. While ZSI brings its longstanding experience in programme evaluation to the project, endeva contributes through its specialisation on issues related to the role of the private sector in development.
Based on triangulated data gained through expert interviews, surveys, focus groups and desk research, the project will produce results that are presented in a final analytical report, which is scheduled to be published in February 2015.
