IESIS (Study 1 and 2)
The overall aim of the study was the identification of key enablers of ICT-enabled social innovation in the field of Personal Social Services of General Interest (PSSGI). The identification of such enablers was instrumental for policy makers who would want to foster social innovations. Factors considered include crowdfunding platforms; social banking instruments, promoting investment in initiatives that contribute to social cohesion and generate public value; open participation mechanisms, fostering citizens’ engagement; open data and open knowledge initiatives etc.
