The ADVANSE project was a capacity building initiative to advance university financial management practices in Southeast Asia

The project ADVANSE, "advancing university financial management practices in Southeast Asia", was an Erasmus+ activity coordinated by FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences. It aimed at promoting the modernisation of financial management practices and income diversification strategies in Southeast Asian higher education insitutions

ZSI was responsible for:

• the external quality assurance (QA) of key deliverables of the ADVANSE project. We deliver QA reports that discuss the project quality and progress and provide inputs for the further improvement of project deliverables and services.
• ZSI was also providing an external view on the project implementation as a whole. While a comprehensive evaluation of the project’s outcomes or impacts is not foreseen, it was our goal to assess the quality of the project implementation (operability) both in terms of outcomes and processes and to identify lessons learned for future projects as well as room for improvement (to the extent still possible).

We carried out these tasks with our team of experts over a period of two years from 2016 to 2018.
