Support to participation in EU programmes - Serbia
The main goal of this EuropeAid funded project is to support the preparation of Serbia's accession and increase the understanding of European Union policies and underpinning values by enhancing Serbian participation in EU Programmes. By doing this, the project aims to improve EU Programme funds absorption by reinforcing management and implementation capacities of the Serbian administration and potential beneficiaries.
The project targets mainly National Contact Points, relevant Government administration bodies and potential applicants (such as CSOs, SMEs, Institutes, youth, students, public administration agencies, etc.).
By the end of the project, the project will have succeeded in following:
- The level of awareness and attractiveness of EU Programmes increased through a fully efficient National Contact Point (NCP) network, better informed administration bodies and potential applicants, utilizing focused training and seminars based on a training needs analysis conducted as part of the project;
- A comprehensive analysis of participation of the Republic of Serbia in EU Programmes and the delivery of support to MEI, resulting in an evaluation report and a template to be used by NCPs for future feedback on EU programme engagement;
- Supporting the visibility of NCPs through a specially developed web presence, printed material and ad hoc visibility support
