Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize
In honor of its founder, the Jacobs Foundation bestows awards for exceptional achievements in research and practice in the field of child and youth development since 2009. As of 2019, the renowned awards are bestowed alternately every two years, with the Research Prize awarded on odd years.
The Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize rewards scientific work of high social relevance to the development of children and young people. It is of great importance to the Jacobs Foundation that scientific findings from interdisciplinary research should be applied in practice. The Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize is endowed with one million Swiss francs.
ZSI supports the Jacobs Foundation with the management of the nomination process, handling the dissemination of the call, communication with nominators and developing the candidate profiles of nominees for the Jury.
