eMACeMentoring the Accession Countries in the eTen Programme

Since the eTen programme opened up to the accession countries with the enlargement in 2004, the eMAC project provided these countries a practical and innovative support, enabling a smooth and easy integration into the eTen Programme. eMAC aimed to promote the participation of the EU accession countries in the eTen programme by training local NCPs/delegates in each accession country in relevant eTen issues using innovative collaborative e-Learning methods. The eTen programme functioned as a practical realisation of the eEurope 2005 goals which apply equally to current member states and the accession countries. Thus by promoting eTen the eMAC project also contributed to the realisation of the programme goals in the accession countries.
