In recent years the European Union (EU) has placed great emphasis on the use of peer review as a methodology for the promotion of mutual learning to support sustainable growth, social cohesion and inclusion. As a result, a number of peer review activities have been developed to encourage transnational exchange in these areas. The purpose of this article is to contribute to research on peer review in the EU by sharing details of the application of this methodology in the
Community of Practice on Partnership in the European Social Fund (COP).
