Among 1000s of EU projects, ZSI has been selected among the top 10 institutes within the 'Best Early Stage innovation' category of the Innovation Radar Prize 2018 for its eCraft2Learn project funded under Horizon 2020. This project developed innovative padagogical models for better learning outcomes by making use of technology and the maker movement principles. The project supports the programming of physical computing platforms via Snap! as well as 3D printing and augmented reality in combination with a sound pedagogical model for students.

This public vote will decide which 4 innovators go forward from each of the 5 categories. The 20 finalists get to pitch their plans for going to market with their EU-funded tech to a jury of experts at the ICT 2018 event in Vienna.
The European Commission's Innovation Radar aims to identify Europe's top innovators and their innovations. The 'Best Early Stage Innovation' category aims to recognise innovations showing promise at early stages in EU-funded research and innovation projects. Other nominated projects apart from ZSI are from SINTEF, Lund University, etc.You can find more information about it here.
